COVID-19 Information & Resources

Dear Community Members,
At a time of great uncertainty, including sudden alterations to our lives, we want you to know that The Jewish Federation of Lane County is here to assist those in our community who need it. All year long we work to provide the most vulnerable in our community with the services needed. One of the reasons we exist is for this purpose. During the COVID-19 crisis our commitment to you remains, and in fact, intensifies.

Through our network, we have organized a cadre of volunteers who stand ready to assist. Our Board of Directors has had initial conversations and will be participating on calls with other Jewish organizations. With this collective input, we are determined to understand what needs are at stake and how we can work together to ensure that these needs are met.

We are ready to mobilize, ramp up and tweak what we normally do to meet the needs during this crisis. Our goal is to make sure people, particularly those who are unable to leave the house due to the COVID-19 virus, have the basic necessities they need.

Hineinu – we are here.

If you or a loved one are in need of assistance, please contact Oriana Hurwit at: 541-484-2541 or

Livriut, Gesundheit, Good health,

Kelly Menachemson

President, Jewish Federation of Lane County
