DESCRIPTION:OPERATION THUNDERBOLT is the true story of the IDF’s daring rescue of Israeli hostages from Entebbe Airport in Uganda on July 4\, 1976. This is an Israeli film (in Hebrew\, with English subtitles)\, and follows what was happening in Israel\, politically and militarily\, in the week before the rescue. The movie was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 1977 Academy Awards.
