Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC)

Building Understanding and Strengthening Relationships

The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of the Jewish Federation of Lane County serves as the central public affairs coordinating and advisory body for the organized Jewish community in Lane County. Guided by Jewish values, social justice, and a commitment to civility and consensus, the JCRC educates, advocates, and responds to issues of vital importance to the community.

Rooted in the Jewish principle of tikkun olam — the repair of the world — the JCRC works to promote understanding, strengthen community relationships, address antisemitism, and build partnerships that foster a more just and inclusive society.

The JCRC also serves as the local affiliate of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA), the national voice for more than 125 Jewish Community Relations Councils, Community Engagement Committees, and 16 national Jewish agencies.
